Janus

I enjoy making logos, business cards and everything else that is assigned with these types of projects. I like that I have the opportunity to recreate an entire identity that companies present to their customers and clients.

If I am assigned the task of creating a logo, I have a routine that I stick to. I will first verbally brainstorm with the client about the impressions that they would like to have with their client base. We talk about things like mood, look and feel and colors and graphic guidelines. I then start hand drawn sketches which I like to think as a sort of visual brainstorming for myself. I then bring the sketch ideas to the computer and create at least 7-10 different logo examples. At that time, I will meet with the client in order to determine which logo style they like the best. After the logo is decided, I usually go back in and perfect it, then double check on the design. Once it is solid, I will start to work on business cards, letterhead, envelopes and whatever other collateral they desire. Upon completion, we're both happy!
